Honeycomb – Creative Works Networking event by
Refresh Boyne is excited to help support this not to be missed evening of 'lightening talks' and networking with some of the worlds greatest digital innovators.
This event is organised by Honeycomb - Creative Works in partnership with CoderDojo Drogheda, Droichead Arts Centre & the Drogheda Arts Festival.
The format for the night is 8 speakers each with 5 minutes and 1 slide! The aim is to uncover something creative, entertaining and insightful from the speaker about themselves or the digital industry.
We also welcome speakers from Refresh Boyne and others to also give a 5 minute lightning talk on any topic you think would be interesting. Just pop us an email with your topic or any questions you may have and we will be in touch to confirm.
The event is informal and social so not only will you get to listen to world leaders in the digital and 3d printing industries you will get to mingle and exchange ideas with them.

Tomm Moore - Creative Director of Cartoon Saloon, an Academy Award (R) nominated company for Best Animated Feature film ‘The Book of Kells'. Co-Founder and Creative Director of Cartoon Saloon, an Academy Award (R) nominated company for Best Animated Feature film 'The Book of Kells'. Based in Kilkenny this studio works with many diverse, international Clients such as Disney, BBC and Cartoon Network. They are currently completing the animated movie 'A Song from the Sea', due for release in October 2014.
Peter Redmond - CEO of Robotics company Mechatrons and Lecturer in TCD, his research interests are Computer Vision, Augmented Reality, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Aeronautics, Simulation and Entrepreneurship. He has developed a number of projects including; RuBot II which can currently solve Rubikâ€™ cubes in less than 20 seconds. http://mechatrons.com/
Dr. Conor MacCormack - CEO of Mcor Technologies - Global Innovator in 3d Printing. Dr. MacCormack has a blend of general management and project management experience and, with a PhD in mechanical engineering, has in-depth experience in the CAD/3D printing field. He has worked as a consultant with companies such as Boston Scientific, ABS Pumps, Aisle Master, Mantis Cranes, Tanco Autowrap, Keenan Systems and Dromone Engineering.
Stephen Howell - Academic Engagement Manager for Microsoft Ireland, he is a skilled computing lecturer and curriculum designer with extensive knowledge of current programming languages and platforms. A software developer of Kinect2Scratch, which is deployed in schools and universities worldwide.
